I've gone solo, with a friend, and with two friends. By myself the canoe is easy enough to handle and sitting in the middle i can use a kayak paddle to get myself around. If you have two people a couple of oars work fine as well. i would however say that if your fishing for red drum that you set two anchors to keep the boat from turning and wrapping both of you in line. i would not advise 3 adults in the canoe at once, no matter what the weight rating is, when the canoe is heavy it turns easy. It tracks great and moves over the water fast and smooth I've used the boat in brackish water and fresh, windy choppy conditions, rain and shine. it does get scratches easy but thats the least of my worries. material is sturdy. do get a dry storage...
