It comes apart to clean, and is of heavy construction. I still wouldn't put milk in any of these but it looks like it may clean up slightly better than my kids camelbak stainless straw cup. The flip top is easier than the "button" on the camelbak for my 2.5yr old, but the 5yr old gets both open okay. For some reason both of them have plastic threads fused onto the stainless cup as if stainless steel threads wouldn't have made a good seal with the lid? It is my only point of concern about germs hiding in there. I also like that the Silver Express cup has less graphics/decorations than the camelbak, I prefer low profile. I have thrown them into a bag all day and they don't leak. I figured since it was a straw cup it would work for him even though the age is listed at 4 and older. Trust the listed age for this cup. The first time I let him use it, he pulled the rubbery straw cover off with his teeth. He could have very easily choked on it. Really scared me to see that little piece of rubber. I'll add another update once we've had a chance to try out the new spout for a week or two.We have had this bottle for nearly a month now, and after using it regularly for this period, I would not recommend it.
