It's very light, and can be packed pretty small with some patience. Cons, this tent is only as good as the ground it can stake to. If you have no stake spots, you have no tent. If they are sand, the tent falls apart. Did I mention it's light? Because it requires stake-points to setup, it takes twice the time of a dome tent. It is very big though, don't let the picture fool you, lots and lots of room for one person. It's a summer tent, don't take it out in a windy storm. It's very light, was a joy to hike on the summer trail, barely there. Did fine in the rain, and the bear just ignored it. I might buy something more substantial next time, but I'll be taking this one out again soon. It's SO light!
